The joy of being a family photographer is that I get to see my families grow, year after year. I have been with Michelle and Matt since they both made eyes at each other, and they became my first couple that I ever photographed. Back in the dayyyyy, I’m telling you. And now, we climbed mountains (“it’s just a trail, Tenille“) to photograph their beautiful family in one of their favourite areas.
The rocks are large and massive; the air is always damp. The babies laughed and played, climbing their way over mossy rocks with a grin on their faces. Matt and Michelle laced fingers together, taking a moment to breathe before rushing in again, scooping one baby before she fell, following another before he got too far.
I ran around, slipped, fell, laughed, complained and basically was donnneeeee with the mountain climbing, but it was all so very much worth it. West coast magic, this family is.
