Oh, Van and Jay.
Vanessa and I go way back; we both grew up in Beauval, running around like thugs in the hallways of Valley View School. She’s been a great, hilarious friend, and has the quickest laugh – she’s always teasing and giggling. And then we met Jay, eeeeeboy. All sudden he’s on her Instagram, they’re steaming up Facebook, and I’m like “…..Van, who’s our boyfriend?”
I have no chill.
Fast forward to this year, and they’re getting married. We snuck around Saskatoon one weekend, making Vanessa throw on a dress and gently encouraging Jay to flex for us, ha. The ever stunning Van had her makeup done by Kacey Beaudry, MUA and we crept in back alleys, and in open fields.
And we laughed. We giggled. We slipped in mud puddles and changed in the backseat of cars.
Totally worth it.
